What Mr Aistons Class Have Done Today

Today in Maths we have been looking at percentaging fractions Nile and Amazon was drawing a table with numbers like 100 , 300, 500,1000 and at the top there was 1% 5% 10% 20% and 50% also Ganges and Mississippi was doing word questions.Thames was cutting up squares and putting them into percentages, it was very challening.

In English today with have been looking at what we need to climb mt Everest. We needed a lot of equipment to get up the top of Everest. All of the class was doing the same it was really fun. We love writing in our class and we love challenges to.

  1. I thought it was a bit challenging today in maths. They video on the litrecy she'd I'd called "One winter's night" go one the ghostly shed first

  2. Hello Jessica and Olivia,

Percentages can be a hard concept to master but it seems your class is understanding them. As with many things we learn in maths, we can look back and wonder why we at first had trouble. Percentages are just another way of working with fractions.

Climbing Mount Everest? What a task. Did any of you think about breathing apparatus? Air can be thin up so high.

These days, I know tour groups regularly go up but, back in the times of Sir Edmund Hilary, it came down to him and his companion, Tenzing Norgay, to make the final climb to the summit with little more than climbing gear.
